The work was created as a dialogue between two artists and it brings to the stage a dancer and a guitarist. Steve Reich's music is composed for 15 guitars, of which the musician Ismo Eskelinen plays the guitar solos live. Minna Tervamäki starts to comment on the music in an abstract, evolving motion. The overlapping, varied rhythms of the music generate opportunities for the dancer to access its diverse layers and opens up a variety of alternative paths for the motion stream. Tervamäki is also inspired to investigate the slow pace of the movement, rendering every millimetre visible to the viewer. In the minimalistic stage production, two enthusiastic artists inspire each other to delve deep into the music and dance in a seamless co-operation.
