CHOREOGRAPHY THIBAULT MONNIER 2019
"Hallowed Be Thy Name" is a choreography created by Thibault Monnier, featuring Minna Tervamäki.
The performance was created and rehearsed in Helsinki. All designs are original ideas by Thibault Monnier.

The Saariaho festival in Tampere started with an opening that resonated with the audience 01.03.2019

The dancer and choreographer Minna Tervamäki and soprano Pia Freund interpreted Kaija Saariaho's music powerfully.
There were two artists on the stage, though, with dancer Minna Tervamäki "singing" her part of the composition with her body. Few dancers manage to look as convincing and sensitive as Tervamäki!
The way that Freund's passionate and dramatic voice and Tervamäki's serpentine body come alive on stage in a single “life” was touching and at times painful.
Particularly memorable was the improvisation of Pensola and Minna Tervamäki, where the mutual stimuli ignited the sound and movement in a spectacle where the violin and the body were teasingly entangled.
This visually successful concert proved that even "challenging" art reaches its audience if its message is genuine.
